#4 Affix initialization failed

I have ;

Opie 0.9.3-snapshot
Linux Kernel 2.4.19-rmk6-pxa.1-hh1
Familiar 0.7-rc3
Affix - unstable feed from ipkg update in Opie

Armadillo bluetooth CF card v1.1
iPaq 3630

I followed these steps ;

uninstall openobex
install Affix kernel and affix - using depends
reinstall openobex

When I try btctl I get the message

"Affix initialization failed" - however the CF card is
recognized as LSE039 Bluetooth Compact Flash card.

Please can someone tell me how to get Affix to initialize
correctly.
