Hello,

I'm trying to install affix on a linux box which will act as an access point for handhelds. I have a 3Com BT USB dongle. Everything works fine until I try to run btsrv -v which in turn invokes btsdp. btsdp terminates (turns into a zombie) after a couple of seconds without leaving any errors in /var/log/messages (apart a line announcing that it started) and btsrv eventually also exits (after about a minute), reporting that SDP initialization failed. When I run btsdp on its own (btsdp -b) it just exits after 2 seconds. Maybe my configuration files are bad but shouldn't in that case be any error log messages?

I had affix, affix_usb and ppp_async modules loaded at the time and btctl was reporting ht0 as UP with no apparent indications of any problems. BlueZ works fine but I want to use affix.

Hope someone out there can point me in the right direction, thanks.

Jindrich
