Howdy,

I'm just now trying the latest aethera
aethera-0.9.3-2_tkc_suse71.i386.rpm along with
korelib-0.0.1-1_tkc_suse71.i386.rpm on SuSE 7.1 with
most recent KDE updates from
ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/KDE2/update_for_7.1/update_for_7.1/
And I have quite a few pop3 accounts. All but 2 of them
are virtual domain accounts requireing username:domain
name as a logon (or username@domain.name or
username%domain.name... you get the hint)
My one accounts on an NT server running Post.Office
works flawlesly, but all of the accounts that check my
Linux servers cause a signal 6 SIGABRT when I choose
Tolls>Receive><account name> or Tools>Send/Receive>.

It upsets me that Aethera works properly on the NT box
but fails on the Linux boxes.

I have tried it against SuSE servers running gnu-pop3d
with the virtual user patch applied, and also against
solid-pop3d, and with a RedHat server and running
gnu-pop3d, and all cause exactly the same error -- the
little KDE Krash handler comes up saying there's been a
SIGABRT, usually caused by internal inconsistancies in
the program.

Perhaps it's my updated KDE?

But if so why is it able to properly handle the NT server?

May I ask what OS/pop3d you guys at theKompany.com use
to test against? Here's the output in a terminal while
the crash is happening....

Well, whatcha think? Did I mess up aethera by upgrading
KDE?
