So I haven't kept up or worried about the sourceforge aspect of my project. This is partly because I don't think anyone actually looks here, and partly because I've been working on quite a few other things in addition to this. The AEP system itself is actually more of a "kernel" system that doesn't actually take too much coding to get running. The packages still need to be fleshed out more, and certain running features could be improve upon, but basically the stuff in the repository is what it is.... read more
I have moved this project up to the "pre-alpha" stage. For the most part, the core of the system is ready for implementation. Overall it didn't require as much code as I thought. I am leaving it as pre-alpha because I know there will be more I need to add later on down the line. But as a dynamically loading package system, it works. I am preparing to integrate this with a content management system, which will likely produce further changes to the base code. If it seems to be functioning appropriately I will move it into the alpha stage and actually create a release. For now the files can be found in the CVS repository.
