Thanks for the patch.

BTW, I have not forgotten your mingw port.  I just finished setting up
my Windows box recently.  It now has MinGW, emacs, ssh, etc.  I'll work
on your thing asap.  It's just that I think it would be very irresponsible
for me to just commit your changes without actually trying to compile
and run it on an actual Windows box.  That is why the delay...  How come
I always manage to find an excuse when I procrastinate... ;-)
