Suspend power manager at boot for x minutes

Hi Renaud,
Because I wan't my diskstation to sleep whenever it's not needed anymore I have shutdown time list like "daily AT 00:20,00:25,00:30,00:35,00:40,... till 23:55".
Problem here is that as soon as I start the diskstation and I don't do anything in the first 10 minutes the diskstation goes back to sleep.
An option like 'suspend powermanager for x minutes after boot' would be great for me. That way I could set power manager to only start 30 minutes after the diskstation is booted.
Good idea? Doable?
Thanks in advance!
Guy
Hi Guy,
Your settings are not optimal, you may use the Delayed Shutdown plugin instead. This plugin enables to exactly do what you want: put DS asleep some time after boot.
Then, with the help of Disk Activity, Network Activity, or Connection plugin, you can let the DS effectively shut down only only no disk activity, resp. no network activity or no connection to the DS is seen.
Hi Renaud,
Thanks for the reply. Didn't know that was a persistent option. I'll try that and get back to you.
Hmm, like I tought. Not the ideal way.

Indeed, when you activate it it works, but the settings disappears after reboot:
Hi Guy,
There is misunderstanding there, I tested it works.
The
Delayed ShutdownI'm talking about is under theShutdownpane (Uitschakel instellingin dutch), it is namedSnelle afsluitingin dutch.By default, it is disabled and configured to 30 minutes.
OMG how could I have missed that :-/
Yes, that is exactly what I need, thank you and sorry for my stupidity ;)
