    Hello,
I have install the Advanced Power Manager 4.2 for DSM 7 on my Synology with DSM 7.1 Update 1 as admin. Then I have make the ssh thing to finish the installation (sudo cp /var/packages/AdvancedPowerManagerDSM7/conf/privilege.root /var/packages/AdvancedPowerManagerDSM7/conf/privilege), also as admin.

I have configurate the normal time to shutdown and boot up.
Then I have configurate "Host", "Network traffic" and "Hard drive" as you can see in the picture. But If the Samsung in on the shutdown time and the Synology shutdown. Why? The TV is on and everything is with lan cable connect!

What have I done wrong? Is there a config missing?

Hello, from the logs it looks like to me the shutdown phase never enters and the NAS shuts down at 01:00.
I think the issue is due to having a schedule in normal DSM "Power application" (I don't know the exact name). Please delete it if it's the case.

I have search for it, but nothing find. I have uninstalled the advanced power manager an made a restart. There are no entries in the systen setting. I have made a screenshot. Where can I found the DSM "Power application"?

This is the "Energie Zeitplan" indeed.
Can you try setting something there, applying, then deleting the configuration, so that the BIOS resets itself?

So, I have uninstalled the advanced power manager, but the NAS is nonetheless go in shitdown.

After i have write new times for shutdown and power up, save it and delate it the NAS is always on!

Then I have install the advanced power manager again and config it with the same data as before. And then everything works fine!

    Hey Mister Metrich Mister Peter
I also have a problem with this Advance Power Management tool for DSM 71. I have a DS218j, the DS is up to date with 7.1 and I keep getting a script error message with a symbolic link to cell 138 perl, which I installed beforehand and then over ssh root right as described. Here are some screenshots of the error message when installing. It only works when shutting down, am I doing something wrong? MFG Lutz-P I can help you Thank you

My DS1621+ offered an update from 7.1 to 7.2 64570 Update 1.. I have the same perl version as in the previous post
After that update APM didn't show up that it needs a repair and seems to run, but the DS did not go to sleep.
So I uninstalled it to try a reinstall but during uninstall I got a similar message as above showing some errors in line 138?? Therefore I didn't try to install it again yet
Has anyone found a fix yet? Or does a new install on 7.2 fix it?

Has anyone found a solution to get it work with DSM 7.2?
