I'm trying to install this package using DSM's Package Center from http://www.cphub.net/. The package seems to be downloading fine, but then I get a message that Advanced Power Manager could not be installed.
I'm running DSM 5.2-5644 on a DS413j.
I'm happy to provide any additional info to resolve this issue.

My DSM speaks german. The exact message is:
"Advanced Power Manager" konnte nicht installiert werden.
That happens about five seconds after I launch the installation at what I suppose being the last step of the installation: After download, accepting the license agreement, choice of the error reporting option, and confirmation of the settings. The error occurs idependently of the choices I have (error reporting on/of, request to run the application after installation or not).
I also tried resetting all power management options I had set - to no avail.
I do not see any message in the logs I can access on the DSM web interface. Connecting by SSH to the DSM I found the synopkg.log, and I have attached a snippet from that which looks like it pertains to the installation of this package. Apparently, some files are missing in the downloaded archive?
Please test the following test build (new package that will be installed besides existing one and doing nothing). Looks like Synology broke something because reading the documentation the new "conf" directory shouldn't be taken into account by default.
Hello, I tested the original package on a XPEnology VM running the latest DSM 5.2-5644 and it appears to work.
Synology probably made a failure when building for DS413j.
Please test the provided package and tell me, I'm sure we will find a solution.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply! My apologies, I'm still trying to learn how to configure my DSM. I tried installing the package you provided by using the "Manual Install" option in the package center, but I only get a message "This package does not contain a digital signature". That's when I found out that I had my package center settings at "Allow installation of packages published by Synology Inc."! I never ran into this problem before, because this is the first third-party package I install.
Guess what: Allowing "trusted publishers" allow me to install your original package just fine! I guess I could have found that before bugging you about it, but the error message my DSM provided was just not quite explicit enough for me. My apologies for wasting some of your time and thanks again for your help!

You seem to be already a trusted publisher - I didn't even need to allow packages from anyone. It's just that you are not Synology. But "Synology Inc. and trusted publishers" did the trick.

Please send me the message you get. I know there are issues on DSM6.0 beta, but it should work on DSM5.2

Looks like Syno attempts to untar a "conf" file which doesn't exist. I need to figure out what's in there.
Please stay tuned.

No problem! I'll try to find a way to sign my package so that it get trusted and can be installed without allowing untrusted packages.
