Hi, I just tried to use app but seems something wrong with it or with me :)
I setup shutdown for disk traffic & network traffic. Both limit 1000 mb per 1 minute with 1 measure. But my dsm won't shutdown even with zero disk & network activity.
NAS info: DS218play with DSM 6.2-23739 Update 1, APM v4.0
Also I noticed that current statuses are all grayed out with "Not available" text.

I noticed the grayed out status on panels I have enabled as well. I was able to get it to kick in by setting a shutdown time and when it gets within a minute or so the enabled panel(s) populate. Obviously less than ideal. The NAS does not shut down at requested time as well which is a different issue. Perhaps my model DS214play is not compatible.

I figured out something in regards to this issue. If you enable Rapid Shutdown under Poweroff settings and set it to 10 minutes the panels you have enabled will kick in after 10 minutes. The Nas will not shutdown soley based on this delay but will shutdown based on the condition(s) of the enabled panel(s).

Once shutdown time is reached (e.g. 22:00), the additional plugins such as Disk Traffic will be evaluated. In fact, the evaluation starts at the shutdown time minus the Interval (1 minute in your case). You can monitor what happens by reading the log file.
With your settings, the following will happen: at shutdown time - 1 minute, disk counters are collected at shutdown time, disk counters are collected again, and a diff is made between current and previous values
* if diff < 1000 mb, shutdown will happen
* if diff >= 1000 mb, shutdown will be delayed. At shutdown time + 1 minute, disk counters are collected again, and a diff is made again
If you believe something is wrong, please upload the log file and config file for analysis.
I use it every day without issue (but using a 10 minutes interval and 10 measures for better accuracy).
