    Hi folks,

    FedoraCore3

    I ran following command;
    # makebootfat -o /dev/sda \     -Y \     -Z \     -b ldlinux.bss -m mbrfat.bin -F \     -c ldlinux.sys -c syslinux.cfg \     -c linux -c initrd.img \     image
    Error reading the file ldlinux.bss

    packages tested;
    makebootfat-1.4-2.fc4.i386.rpm
    makebootfat-1.4-2.fc3.i386.rpm

    same result.

    Also tried replacing "/dev/sda" with "usb" without breakthrough.

    Please help.  TIA

      check your path to the files.
      All of these need to be in same dir because of the way you wrote the (one line) command.
      ldlinux.bss, mbrfat.bin ,ldlinux.sys, syslinux.cfg,
      linux, initrd.img, image

      In addition it would probably be a good idea if you were running makebootfat from that same dir. I.e., cd to it before running the command.
