Have you considering porting Advanced HMI to Linux? Check out gambas.sourceforge.net. It is a powerful alternative to VB for Linux, especially for those who weren't convinced to go from VB6 to .NET. It may help bring the project some support.

A Linux port wouldn't be anything that I would do. None of my customers use Linux, so it's not anything that would be useful for me. It pobably wouldn't be very easy since it makes heavy use of GDI+.
