I am trying to connect a simple indicator to a tag in a Compactlogix. It should be as simple as adding the CLX component to the page, set the IP, add an indicator and add the tag name? The slot is 0 as it should be. It compiled and published with no issues. Installed on a machine that has rslinx pro. Is it that simple? Its not working. Any ideas? Also, when it compiles it keep adding the twincat com. Why is this?

Try using the help forum, you tend to get better response there. I don't know nout about compact logic, but advhmi sometimes I've found doesn't like certain data files, try others
