I'm having trouble with PRODOS bootstrap n my //e.
My //e has only one audio connector, so I connected the audio cable in it and my PC with linux, I have tried zillions of different volume configurations, below a certain level the //e does not hear anything, and above this, I only get the error message (ERR) in the //e, usually At the end of the transmission and I can not run the prodos.
I noticed that the ADTPro progress bar does not continue continuously from start to finish, I saw the message "image transfer aborted" several times, even though the transfer sound continues to be sent to the output.
In the "disks" directory of ADTPro I noticed the creation of several files with the name truncated during the transmission of the prodos. Several with the extension ".nib"
I also tried different versions of ADPPro, but got the same result.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
I really appreciate any help, I'm running out of ideas.
Thank you.

I've found the problem with bootstrap.
I was using Debian 8.4, which I used on my servers, i was trying to do with ADTPro work for almost two months. I noticed that some libraries of the operating system are different from Linux Mint, for example, which is based on Ubuntu, which in turn is based on Debian.
Using another PC, this time with the Mint 18, the ADTPro worked perfectly. I can now do the bootstrap and format my disks.
My //e is in fact a clone. And it has only one audio connector. If you are working with cassete tape, no problem at all with your loads or saves, but... With disk image transfers using ADTPro, i don't know how to set the cable to do read/write in the right time.
Thank you.

I wonder if the cassette jack is stereo, where the L and R "sides" are actually cassette-in vs. cassette-out. That's how I'd organize it if I were making a clone, I guess.

What do you mean, that your //e has only one audio connector? Take a look at this picture:

Are you saying you don't have those two 1/8" audio jacks?
