Do you ever think there will be an update to the 2.4 client? I find it very valuable to archiving old partially readable disks. It has a nice "Locksmith FastCopy chart" type of display that shows the tack and sectors that don't read.
The only problem I have with that, though, is that upon finishing the last track & sector it clears the display. Doesn't give the opportunity to "Press a key to continue" in order to write down the fail points. Can that feature be added as maybe a special point release?

I thought so too. I'm not seeing it. I looked inside the zip for a disk image and didn't find any with a 2.41 client. the ADTbase.dsk has only a HELLO program, if that's where it's supposed to be.

Ok, I see the problem - the bult package I uploaded collided with the source tree that Github automatically supplied, so mine was squashed. I renamed the zip and re-uploaded it; you should see ADT_2.41_Client.zip from the 2.41 release page now.

Yes. It's working fine. It certainly helps being able to make a list of recalcitrant tracks and sectors that need extra attention. The archives and I thank you.

Is there a ready-to-use binary available?
Yes. I know it says source, but it's not.
