I only have one disk II its reading fine but stops writing to the DSDD at block 273 on multipal disks and programs. i tried cleaning the read/write sensor. it seams to travel on the rail fine. but always stops at block 00273 out of 00280. and adtpro says it has aborted writing to the disk. any suggestions?

That doesn't sound like a typical failure mode. Can you write a plain DOS 3.3 disk out (even if ti fails on the last few blocks - that won't matter), boot that up, and see if DOS can initalize a whole disk successfully? The command would be: "INIT HELLO, D1"
