VOS/S3 is a redesign of the old MOS, implemented in C++ rather than Java. The old Java MOS here at Sourceforge is no longer active, please see the new site for information about VOS/S3.

MIM (MOS Instant Messager) has been released for testing. MIM is a distributed, secure (fully authenticated and encrypted) instant messaging system based on the Meta Object System (MOS) and is part of the Amherst Distributed Reality project. http://signl.cs.umass.edu/adr
