release 1.1.1 of ADeQuaTe available

ADeQuaTe (Alan's Database Query Tool) is a GUI database query tool that does not require end-user knowledge of the structure of the data. Release 1.1.1 adds an export function to write the data to a file.

New release of ADeQuaTe (adqt) forthcoming

ADeQuaTe (adqt) (alan's database query tool) allows end-users to query information from a database without having to know the structure of the data.

The new release will include a criteria editor for administrative definition of user query options.

I am nearly done writing the criteria editor and expect to have the new release available on the download servers within a week.

updated installation guide

I updated the installation guide online to reflect and deal with a quirk in the qt install that could be preventing a successful make. The current doc is in the doc manager online.

adqt version 1.0 released

Adqt is a GUI database query tool that does not require knowledge of sql or the structure of the data. Version 1.0 is the first public release.

This program allows a user to specify what data they want with a few clicks, based on criteria entered by an administrator (someone who knows sql (a little should be enough)).
