The long-awaited version 1.3 of the AdPlug core library was released today!

From the NEWS:
- Completely new build system for DOS and Windows.
- Centralized debug management.
- Added a whole bunch of new developer documentation.
- Developer documentation is now using troff formatting language.
- Much more flexible Protracker player.
- New or corrected IMF timer rates for the following games:
- Duke Nukem 2
- New format support:
- SNG: Adlib Tracker 1.0
- CFF: BoomTracker 4.0
- DTM: Defy Adlib Tracker
- DMO: Twin TrackPlayer

AdPlug/XMMS 1.0 was released today! AdPlug/XMMS is an XMMS input plugin, using the AdPlug core library to play back many types of AdLib (OPL2) audio file formats through AdPlug's integrated OPL2 emulator. No OPL2 hardware is needed!

After a long time, there's a new AdPlay/UNIX release.

From the NEWS:
- Updated man page.
- Many build fixes.
- Modularized output system.
- Added the following output mechanisms:
- oss: Open Sound System (OSS) driver
- null: Null (silent) output
- disk: Disk writer

Finally an update to the DOS frontend. This should pretty much finalize AdPlug's DOS support. The only things i'm planning to put in a later version are ARJ and RAR support and keep it in sync with the core library. Everything else should be pretty much "mature" now (as far as i want my DOS port to be mature, that is ;) ).

A new version of the adplug core library was released today. From the NEWS:
- Added a whole bunch of new players:
- SAT, ROL, SNG, XAD, XMS, MAD
- SA2 player now handles version 7 files.
- GCC 3.x compatibility.
- Compiles on FreeBSD (and maybe many more flavors).
- Now using GNU autotools for UNIX builds.
- New OPL disk writer that creates RdosPlay RAW files.
- Reordered source directory structure (removed players directory).

New version of the UNIX frontend released!

Changes include:
- Rewrote using GNU autotools.
- Wrote man page.
- FreeBSD fixes.

The complete AdPlug suite of programs and libraries was updated today! New to the set of frontends is a Linux console player, which is fully featured already. The other frontends have got important fixes. The library was enhanced by a bunch of new replayers. See the appropriate changelog for details.

AdPlug's Winamp frontend version 1.0 was released today. There's not much between this and the last closed-source release. I made it just to have a point to start with.

The first open-sourced AdPlug release was made today! There aren't many changes between this and the last closed-source 0.10 release, but at least, we got a point to start with. Also, AdPlay 1.0, the DOS frontend, was released today. It features many, many improvements to the last public beta, so just try it out! AdPlug's winamp frontend will follow soon.
