Strange Adlib-based format? (.ALB)

This isn't exactly a feature request.
The DOS version of Tempest 2000 seems to use a special and very obscure Adlib implementation developed by a "Dream Weavers Ltd.". Just how different is this, and is there any way AdPlug can pick it up? Or does anyone know of another game that may use this implementation?
