Hello,
Cryo's Dune has to be one of the only games that was
designed to be played on an AdLib Gold; sadly, this
OPL3 card was not compatible with the SB16 and thus the
AdLib Gold soundtrack can't be heard today in DOSBox
(support for ADG was suggested and refused). It seems
like the only way to listen to this soundtrack in its
original format will hopefully be through AdPlug.
The problem is that the Herad (Herbulot AdLib) system
was not used by a slew of games (only Dune and KGB it
seems) and may not be well documented... I've attached
the Dune music archive, which contains both formats:
HSQ (Herbulot Sequencer) for the AdLib version, ADG for
the AdLib Gold version. Hopefully you'll be able to
make the most of it.
Thanks for this great player, btw :-)

Hi.
The HSQ files in Dune are compressed files.
You have to unpack them, before you can do any file format
related research/development.
Well, I managed to move the (un)compressed HSQ related
research forward.
