How can this trigger an autocommit at the CompleteTrans(true) function when the first query creates an error?

(mysqlt): SET AUTOCOMMIT=0
Error (0):

(mysqlt): BEGIN
Error (0):

(mysqlt): insert into com_ticket (ticket_time,ticket_status,ticket_name,ticket_queue,ticket_source) values (NOW(),0,'x',queue)
Error (1136): Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

(mysqlt): update com_ticket set ticket_name=conv(LAST_INSERT_ID(), 10, 36) where ticket_id=LAST_INSERT_ID()
Error (0):

(mysqlt): COMMIT
Error (0):

(mysqlt): SET AUTOCOMMIT=1
Error (0):

(mysqlt): Smart Commit occurred
