I've one application (our new Web site) that is written in php and uses adodb to connect to the postgres back end. Since I upgraded postgres to -9.0.3 it no longer works. Tracing the error back from the httpd log takes me eventually to the php function to connect the application to the specified database. The failure triggers the message I see. As this is the only php/adodb application I have I've no idea how to identify the source of the problem. The application and postgres folks suggest that it's an adodb issue. I'm not sure what information to present that will guide you to helping me. The software is postgresql-9.0.3 and php-5.2.17 on Slackware-13.1. My Google searches show hits for adodb and postgres 7 and 8, but not 9. Please let me know what diagnostic information to send so that I can quickly return this application to production. Rich |
