If it is possible, this upcoming flatfile databasing
system that uses a subset of SQL would be a great
addition to the arsenal of supported Databases. Check
it out at : http://chibiguy.dotgeek.org/index.php?page=home
There are lots of great scripts out there using ADOdb
to interface with databases, many who want only cheaper
hosting without having to use a host that supports
normal databases would then be able to use this system
and all of the great scripts out there that use it. I
am thinking here of being a help to small
organisations, community groups and charities.

Thanks for the info. it would be nice if you could
contribute a driver. Alternatively sqlLite is already
    supported.
