Hi Robert, We have considered Subversion. The reason we use Perforce is much the same as why you want subversion. Adobe uses Perforce internally, and we have over 50 projects internally using ASL - we're able to setup the stlab server as a remote to an internal server. Last I looked, there just weren't decent p4<->svn tools. Initially we were using cvs externally but managing the integrations was too time consuming. If you know of any good tools, let us know. I think using svn would raise our external visibility and adoption.
