I just would have hoped that since it was current at one point, the Gtk side of ASL would have been integrated. On my side I had started to look at it to develop a Free Software application on Linux, and at one point I had started to make a build system I understand, GNU tools based, to build on Unix. Off course, nothing prevents you to develop on Unix platform. You could still reuse Ralph patch that target 1.0.23 and port it to 1.0.27: http://www.missioncode.org/blog/?p=50 Actually better do it now than later when it will be more difficult with the API changes. The only problem is that if it never get integrated, it will be a burdain for you (or anybody else using it) to maintain it. Hub |
