It looks like it's missing some of boost and the STL (!). Are your XCode projects including Boost.Thread? I don't know why you would be missing STL's char_traits... perhaps you're missing a specialization to a specific character type (GCC's STL only includes char and wchar_t, so if you have a std::basic_string<> of something else then you need to provide a new specialization).
