button to change database is not shown

first off, I really like adminer, but I have some problems using it.

I can easily connect with any mysql-user created via virtualmin or by console, but I only get connected to one database. Means, even if the user has the necessary rights for two databases, adminer doesn't give me the possibilty to change to the other database. (I checked the users rights via console and I can browse both databases without a problem.) Even if I use the mysql root user, I don't even see the button to change the database. Other tools like mysqldumper work fine with the same users, so I'm stucked here. Are there any known issues or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks and regards

Database should be switched just by selecting it by JavaScript. If JavaScript is disabled then button is shown and you need to click on it.

You are using Adminer Editor - a simplified Adminer working only with one database and only the data, not structure. You can set the database to be used via the database() method: https://www.adminer.org/en/extension/.
