Does Adminer use SSL for DB connections? If not, is it possible to add this option?

    Thank you.

No, Adminer doesn't support this. I'm not sure how would that work with
      Adminer because http://www.php.net/manual/en/mysqli.ssl-set.php requires
      a lot of parameters.

I too would like to see Adminer use SSL for the DB connections. You could have Adminer use an optional configuration file, where people could specify the various parameters required for the SSL connection. In the case of phpMyAdmin, we only need to supply the capath to do an SSL connection to our Amazon RDS instances.

As a workaround (when SSL is required), I have added support for SSL in fork:
    https://github.com/tomec-martin/adminer
It is ugly code and only with mysqli, but better than nothing. Hope that helps somebody...
