with Adminer Editor 2.3.2:
- login is accepted with each and every credential, even if I type non-existent ones
- in the left panel, I get an error message "Fatal error: Call to a member function fetch_assoc() on a non-object in (...)\adminer\include\mysql.inc.php on line 234" (using the "source code" version, but the "release" version also give me the error)

server is MySQL 5.1.41 @localhost, login "root" and empty password

the same DB works perfectly fine with classic Adminer

Adminer Editor uses different set of credentials than the database server. Server credentials are taken from php.ini by default. Your default database user probably don't have privileges to SHOW TABLE STATUS.

To fix this issue, either specify the credentials in php.ini or create an Adminer customization: http://www.adminer.org/en/extension/
