According to here: http://www.adminer.org/en/phpmyadmin/
Double clicking on a field in a table should bring up an input field to edit it. But that is not happening in Adminer 4.0.2 (I'm using the MySQL+English verison, in Google Chrome).

Incidentally, that comparison table seems a bit out of date, you should update it for the latest versions. PMA has double-click editing now, adding enums is easier, the "Keyboard shortcucts" thing is fixed, and it now has "New version notifications".

The table is outdated but it specifies the versions that has been compared. Inline editing is now available through Ctrl+click as double click is used for selecting words across browsers. Updating the table is quite hard for me as using phpMyAdmin causes me pain.

OK thanks, didn't see Ctrl+click listed anywhere.
