#2 White box

I tried to post this last week and was not able to do
so, I am trying again.
Hi All,
I hope you can help me, I got version 1.0 up and
running on a Mandrake 9.0 system. I can login as
admin and everything workes like it supposed too.
When I login as a regular user I get a white box over
the main area of the content browser window, the
headers and footers show up,and the cournsers of the
content area show up, but inbetween there seems to
be a white box over everything. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You have to add a new news item, e.g. "My ADEPT system is
ready..." to solve this problem. I seems that something is
wrong with the initialisation of the left frame (where ADEPT
news are initially shown).

Thanks jtoma,
But that does not seem to be what is causing the problem. (I tried that and no luck). the box is apearing aws a
band across the screen (both menu and content areas).
Any other Ideas ?
