Adele will be translated for the german and english language as leading languages. All other languages can be added by the community or by automatic translation with a poor quality.
Adele will check the current desktop language at startup. If the current language is found as included translation this language will be used. Otherwise the language will switched to english.
If you use a french computer, french is a valid translations and you will use Adele with the english translation, you can switch the Adele language by startup parameters.
1) program parameter "-language=<language code="">"
e.g. java -jar Adele.jar -language=en
2) java parameter "-Duser.language=en"
e.g. java -Duser.language=en -jar Adele.jar
If you find missing and wrong translations you can help the project if you report this as a ticket via the sourceforge project site.
Missing translations can be identified by a text like "$missingText". This is the textCode and has to be reported within the ticket.
If you find wrong translations (e.g. coming from an automact language import) you have to identify the textCode first. Via Menu "expert - info system environment" you will find the last translation with code and (wrong) text. An addtional block contains all missing translations too.
Please report at least the textCodes and your translation advice. Thank you!
If you are a native speaker in one of the missing translations you can help the project if you want. Please contact the author. You will get a typical java property file in one of the leading languages (de,en). Then you translate this and send it back to the author.
In one of the next versions your translation will be available for all users. If you want your name can be displayed in the credit section.
