Address Actions 0.2 is now available on SourceForge.net. It adds support for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and Intel Macs.

The previous version (0.1) of Address Actions required separate installation of other software. This is no longer necessary, as the drag-and-drop application contains all required third-party software.

Address Actions is a utility for working with address information in Mac OS X 10.3 (and hopefully higher). Select an address in an email, webpage or other text, then choose Address Actions from the Services menu to add the address to the Mac OS X Address Book, or display maps for Australian addresses.

It is early days for Address Actions, with plenty of work still to be done, and lots of potential for enhancement. However, power users may find it worth a look now, and Cocoa or Perl developers might like to contribute to the project.... read more
