First of all: thank you very much for your good work!

I installed the acx100-0.2.0pre6 driver on my Debian
Woody System and my D-Link DWL-650+ is working fine.

Though I know that running a WEP encryption is nearly
as good as running no encryption at all, I wanted to set
up the WEP encryption in the start_net script.

This didn't work and I got following output:

...
Setting key to "1BF2...my key...780", algorithm open.
Error : unrecognised wireless request "1BF2...my
key...780"
Failed.
...

I cannot even find where this error message comes from,
it seems not to be part of the driver?

Can anybody help?

Yours hans

    Hi,

does that even work when doing that manually?
Or is it yet another example of those infamous
    wireless-tools versioning
    problems?
    Better check your wireless-tools version!

Please tell us whether using a proper wireless-tools version
    fixed the problem. Thanks!
