First let me apologize for not having all the info. I had about 24
hours to blow fedora on a mini itx box for a guy and after struggling
with the dlink dwlg650+ for about a third of it I had to punt and send
it off with an old orinco card I had.
The dlink dwl-g650+ is not supported in the US but you can get the
I think the issue was that I could never find the firmware files named
anything like what I found in the docs and ML archives. Tried various
things, including dling the drivers from dlink.uk and compiling a bunch
of crap to extract the stuff frm the installshield cabs.
Anyway all I could find is a group of filesin each of the windows
subdirs named GPLUS.* and TIACX111.bin

I am expecting to get this box back after the demo it was sent for and
would like to know what the odds are that I can get this thing going now
that I have subscribed and lurked a few days.
I was able to compile the module and insert it but I always got errors.
I believe that it was lspci that told me this was a acx111.
If anyone can give me some pointers try when I get this thing back for
additional testing I would appreciate it.
Oh yeah, I did not hear about TIACX11.BIN as the firmware until after
the thing was shipped. It is my understanding that this will be found
now if it is placed in the correct firmware dir.
Given some help I would be glad to perform whatever testing needs to be
done to help this be supported evne if I am successful in talking them
into using a different card as I hope to do:)
between putzing with acx100 and a stab at ndisloader or whatever that
cludge is called I have probably confused the issues in my mind but I
should have the box back in a week or so and I wanted to get a head
start on it.
