I downloaded the latest git (July 4th snapshot http://acx100.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=acx100/acx-mac80211;a=snapshot;h=90ac19873ca14bcf9f6c2c4f3d15feb4ec102ba1;sf=tgz ) and compiled it. The driver seems to work ok for connecting, but when I attempted to run Injection-Test from the Aircrack-ng project it didn't seem to work. Anyone else know about this?
I also tested with WEPCrackGUI, and it stated ERROR that it needed to be patched for any attacks/injections to work.
#aircrack-ng said it's such an old chipset they don't know whether it would work or not so I figured I'd ask here.
I'm running on linux kernel 2.6.38-8-generic (installed as module) and using a Linksys Wireless-G WPC54G v.2
Technically the current driver is actually based on the capability to send/receive arbitrary frames, so I think, although I never tried, that there wouldn't be anything blocking. However right now indeed e.g. monitoring mode is not yet supported. Normal monitoring support is on the ToDo list … but it depends on time ;).
