First, thanks for your reply. I am having difficulties with AL that I cant 
seem to work out, beyond what my first e-mail stated. In my vb app, I applied 
the code suggested in the tutorial, copy and pasted it with changes in the name 
and version fields. I then generated a product key (v-code) and put that in my 
app. I could not ever get it to accept the liberation key, it always came 
back with invalid key. So, I fired up the example app........and cant seem to get 
it to accept a liberation key either. I am running XP pro. Am I missing 
something here?
