Could you explain in more detail? I am using "Lock to random number" but the software code is unqie on each installation. My requirement is that I should be able to provide a full donwload version to the user. This version should install only once.If not then maybe have  a registration key that and software install copy. The registration key should work once to reigster teh software where it is installed. Basically I am just trying to get rid of the user supplying the software code. Any ideas?

In version 1, I guess what you could do is generate a liberation key using either just "Lock To Random Number" or "Lock To Custom String", then have your installer import that key into the registry during installation. Mind you, this is not very secure.

Is there a way with active lock to know the software code from before that will be created on installation? the idea is to have something for downloadable software that is like the registration key  u get with windows on the packaging material. The registration key is on the packaging material and wokrs no matter where the software is installed.
