Support Requests item #1156506, was opened at 2005-03-04 08:48 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=526386&aid=1156506&group_id=70007 Category: Implementation Issue Group: Support Team Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: stevew (ste_m_williams) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: activelock multiple users single machine Initial Comment: Dear Team I use an ancient version of activelock (the activex is nslock15vb6.ocx) but it has always served me well. However I now have a problem. A user installs and unlocks my software on their PC with no problem. A second user with an account on the same PC (but different privilages) tries to run the program and gets the following (see image) Run-time error '26001': Failed to set registry value Key:'- 21474836446',Section:'SOFTWARE\Nelco\...(some hex codes in here)...',Key:'6C335A0B432642' to value:" If it is relevant the first user was an administrator. Clearly I need to clean the registry but I don't want users to have to do this. Can you provide any background information on why and what is actually going on? I don't want to stop using activelock but clearly this is a big problem for me Regards Steve ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=526386&aid=1156506&group_id=70007 |
