Pete's role traditionaly had been, even before he agreed to join us
formally, to find security weaknesses in the implementation and
suggest improvements.
For that reason, I've dubbed Pete our technical advisor. :-)

Yes, that's the general idea of going beta.  I announced it a few
months ago when we moved into beta 1.

Only to fix critical bugs.

They don't seem to be critical issues so I will look into them in due
time.  We just need to make sure we address them all before we go to 5
(production/stable).

I exercise discretionary judgement when deciding what's appropriate
for posting to the list and what should be kept in private
conversations (case in point: this email thread).

Sounds great. Let's go with Wiki then.  Go ahead and set it up and let
me know when it's available for a peek.  Out of curiosity, what's the
name of the wiki software that you have in mind? Is it WikiPedia?
