Active Agenda: "Deforestation"

The Active Agenda project team is currently working to "deforest" the application of the OpRisk modules. The first step requires the team to remove sub modules from host modules. Updates will occur as each host module is "deforested." The ultimate goal is to free the generator from the OpRisk modules, making it easier to build unique application modules. The "deforestation" will also enable implementers to install modules of Active Agenda that are important to them, and disregard those modules deemed to be unnecessary.

Migrating to PHP 5

We're now working hard to adapt the Active Agenda source code to work under PHP 5. We plan to support PHP 5 in the next release, which will be re-numbered as 0.9 in recognition of this, pretty major, new feature.

In the meantime, if you'd like to check out how well (or not) Active Agenda runs under PHP 5, it is possible to use the database files from the current 0.8.2 release and updating the source code to the latest code available in the SVN code repository. See the following article for some more pointers:... read more

Subversion Code Repository

We've migrated our source code repository from a clunky old desktop server to SourceForge's shiny Subversion system.

The new repository allows you to:
* Browse the source code online, and watch our progress in real time.
* Run the latest code on your Active Agenda system, by using the Subversion client.

If you think something in the code should be fixed or changed, please contact me directly.

The link to the repository is:

Since the initial release, we have added a number of new features and fixes. Notable additions are several new PDF reports and work sheets, a re-organization of the themes (allows easier maintenance of modified HTML layouts, CSS and image files), and a new database upgrade utility.

Some of these changes require modifying the configuration file, so be sure to read the upgrade instructions.... read more
