#2 Some PDFs not searchable

When certain fonts are used in the source document,
those portions of the document are not text-
searchable. Copy/paste of these portions yield garbage.

The issue seems to be related to the embedding of a
font subset. I believe that the subset font is somehow
not mapped, or incorrectly mapped, to the base
character set. This is a little over my head right now in
terms of the inner workings of PDF. Any assistance from
the community at large is appreciated.

In the meantime, I'll be digging deeper into PDF
internals...
