Hello, I have an AMD Athlon XP 1500+ system. MotherBoard EPOX 8K7A+.
I'll like to use BIOS option "Shutdown Temperature" which shutdown the
computer if the CPU temperature becomes more than some value.
The BIOS manual says that I need an "ACPI compliant OS". The question
is: Does the current version of acpid (and Linux-2.4.9-31 with patch)
handle the corresponding signal ? How can I test if the BIOS is sending
o not a signal for that event ?
The power button signal is working fine. If I push the button I get:
[Tue May 28 15:17:19 2002] received event "button power 00000080 00000000"
[Tue May 28 15:17:19 2002] completed event "button power 00000080 00000000"
but I don't know how to test for other signals. Any help is welcome.
