Dear All, Recently on the newsgroups there's been some Iyonix users (well one so far) wanting to use AcornCD. What chance is there of: a) the source code (for the actual AcornCD server) being packaged up and released (currently there is not 32-bit version of CVS for Iyonix) b) any changes for 32-bit use being made? Thanks in advance. Yours, Phil L. |

Quite correct, but my point is that it is extremly difficult to access the source code if you don't have a working CVS client - which is currently the case on an Iyonix (the 32-bit/XScale machine from Castle). The actual matter has been sorted now, but perhaps it is something that could be considered for future releases? Yours, Phil L. -- http://www.philipnet.com |

Any future release could include a source archive I guess... I know Gerph was planning some changes... John. |

No matter. >> The actual matter has been sorted now, but perhaps it is something that >> could be considered for future releases? > >Any future release could include a source archive I guess... > >I know Gerph was planning some changes... Well, I couldn't find a way to do it, so I've done it myself. A nightly tarball will be made of the source, available at either of the following URLs: http://acorncd.sourceforge.net/acorncd-nightly.tar.gz http://redux.org.uk/acorncd/acorncd-nightly.tar.gz John. |
