Set up you environment

Before you start developing for aCME, there are a few things that you need.
The environment setting up of the project is described below with the attached documents for more detail.

Installing and Starting Guide

How to install and configure on Windows platform all components needed to run aCME system:

Pre-Requisites

You must have adequate disk space to install JDK and JBoss Application Server while also allowing enough space for your applications. Before installing JBoss Application Server you must have a working installation of Java. Since JBoss is 100% pure Java you can have it working on any Operating System / Platform that supports Java.

Configuring Your Java Environment

You must have a working installation of JDK 1.6 before you install JBoss Application
Server. You can install the 32-bit or 64-bit JVM as per your requirements.

Starting JBoss from Eclipse with JBoss Tools Guide

In order use JBoss AS from Eclipse, you'll need Eclipe Juno (version: Juno Service Release 2) and JBoss Tools.

Getting the source code of aCME

When the setting up of the environment works fine, following the instructions for obtaining the source code of aCME from Eclipse SVN. First of all, you need to add an SVN client to your Eclipse Installation. More documentation is available the the following page:

Checking out the code from the SVN

Once you have installed an SVN client you need to go through the following steps (instructions below are for Subclipse).

Switch to the SVN Repository Exploring perspective (from the Window→Open Perspective→Other... menu)
Click on the New Repository Location button on the SVN Repositories view and enter the following details
