Aciqra: 1.0 Released

A simple and fast, C#-based planetarium program which tracks and displays the locations of planets, minor planets, stars and also deep sky objects.

The initial and most important release of Aciqra is complete. The 8000 lines of code was the result of over 30 hours worth of code. The graphics in the program are very crude. These will be steadily redone over the next few releases to meet its standard of "elegance."

Included in Aciqra, in addition to the basic "sky viewer" is a wealth of tools. Included amongst this is a solar system view which displays the solar system at any given time. Along side it is the Conjunction Engine whichto checks for the next conjunction of any two celestial bodies. Topping things off is a Solar Events dialog which searches through for any transit or eclipse. Of course, there's a dynamic select-location map which is a simple (or maybe not so simple) way to pick your location.

In future releases, expect the addition of many more of these tools including a planned comet viewer and planet information.
