#42 Crash on loading DVD

When I click 'Load', acid rip crashes with the error;

Pango-WARNING **: shape engine failure, expect ugly output. the offending font is 'DejaVu Sans Not-Rotated 0' at /usr/bin/acidrip line 60.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I've tried reinstalling libsdl-pango, fontconfig and acidrip. No help. Google turned up the same problem for Fedora Core and Arch Linux. I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty).
