ACIAH-Linux

ACIAH-Linux is a French Linux distribution designed primarily for blind and visually-impaired persons, but also for those with other types of handicap, as well as the elderly. It is based on Linux Mint and features the Xfce desktop. The distribution provides a range of accessibility tools to aid visually-challenged users to complete various computing tasks: Orca (a screen reader), Evince and Okular (document viewers with an ability to magnify text), KMag (a utility to magnify a part of the screen). ACIAH-Linux comes preconfigured with extensive keyboard shortcuts to facilitate document reading and internet navigation.
