When a visitor uses an iphone to connect to an operator and the screen is
locked (because of no activity) or the visitor opens a new application, the
Ace Operator chat application does not poll the server any more. As a
result, it does not receive messages from the server. When the application
is brought to the foreground again, the communication resumes and all
accumulated messages are received. This is generally not an issue but it
could be a problem if an operator uses the ipad tablet which has similar
behavior. In the worst case, if the browser remains inactive for more than
5 minutes, the server's inactivity timer kicks in an disconnects the chat
session.
