I've updated the project site, http://accessrunner.sourceforge.net/, to a state which I consider usable. Please try to use it and see if it helps you to get your modem working.
Also let me remind you that there exists a mailing list for this project, which is _read_ by the developers, and archived in a fashion similar to this forum. You may be better off posting your questions there, you don't need to be subscribed in order to do so (but be sure fo search the archives first :).
